Carol wants this website to be easy for everyone to use. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site hasn't been independently tested, so we don't claim full compliance.
What we've done
- You can use the site with a keyboard, and a clear gold outline shows where you are on the page.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks to help screen readers.
- Images have text descriptions.
- Animations are reduced or switched off if your device asks for less motion.
- Text colors have been checked so they're readable against their backgrounds.
- Links and buttons are large enough to tap on phones.
- The site works on phones, tablets and computers without sideways scrolling.
Known limitations
- The site hasn't yet been fully tested with screen readers or on a range of real phones.
- The handwritten-style lettering used for some names may be harder for some people to read.
- The testimonials change every nine seconds. They pause when your pointer is over them or when you move to them with a keyboard, but there's no pause button for touchscreen users yet.
